Rimini is a city of 146.606 inhabitants located on the Adriatic Sea, in the Emilia Romagna region of northern Italy. Rimini is one of the most famous seaside resorts in Europe.

Thanks to its 15km long sandy beach, over 1000 hotels, thousands bars, restaurants.
One of the reasons that so many families choose Rimini for a holiday is because of the beach and sea. This part of the adriatic is definitely not the prettiest sea but it is amongst the safest and there are lifeguards all along the Rimini beachfront. If you want you can also rent a pedalo boat, to easily reach deeper waters. 

Most of the beach facilities include playgrounds – and many have cool games like giant trampolines, ping-pong tables, beach volleyball and a variety of sports. Many of the beachfronts also have a kids club, with organized games, and activities. Relaxing on the beach, Rimini style, means space for all the family to relax and enjoy themselves.

The city of Rimini includes the seaside localities and districts of Torre Pedrera, Viserbella, Viserba, Rivabella, San Giuliano Mare toward North and Bellariva, Marebello, Rivazzurra, Miramare towards South.

Italy in Miniature is one of the best theme parks in the Romagna Riviera and perhaps one of the most unique in Italy. Located in Viserba, just a few kilometers from the center of Rimini, Italy in Miniature now offers its visitors a wide range of attractions, first and foremost the faithful reproductions of some of the main monuments and places of historical and artistic interest in Italy. Placed in an area of the Park of around 85,000 square meters shaped like a boot, there are over 270 miniatures reproducing the beauty of Italy

. 

Venice, for example, with its Grand Canal, virtually identical to the original but five times smaller, can be admired aboard a boat to explore its every corner, just as you would if you were in the real Venice. Created in 1992, little Venice now features 119 buildings created over a period of 9 years.  

Fiabilandia is located in Rivazzurra between Rimini and Riccione, is the oldest theme park in Italy. It was built in 1965, and over the years has never stopped expanding. Fiabilandia is inspired by the world of fairy tales .You can visit Fiabilandia from early April to late October, and the season ends on October 31 of each year with a fun-filled Halloween party. 

If you are spending your holidays in Rimini or Riccione with your family, go to Fiabilandia for a day of fun and relaxation. Inside the park there are food courts and services for all needs, and all over the park there are members of staff and fun animated characters to give everyone a warm welcome. 

The great castle of Merlin the Wizard, which is one of Fiabilandia’s most famous attractions, draws the attention of visitors from afar. 

Oltremare in Riccione occupies an area of 110,000 square meters. Special attention is given to the animal species and vegetation of the Adriatic Sea. Visitors can also visit the new IMAX cinema with its spectacular 3D and 4D projections. Every year, nearly 1 million people visit Oltremare, which is open from early April to early November. This is the ideal place to have fun enjoying fabulous and entertaining dolphin shows, observing and admiring farm animals, and watching exciting movies in the adjacent IMAX cinema. One of the main attractions is the dolphin lagoon, home to eleven Bottlenose dolphins that perform routines and games for the public twice a day.

Rimini Cartoon Club is the biggest events every year. In the middle of the summer this fantastic festival includes films, workshops, special appearances by Cartoon Characters and much more.

 

Rimini Wheel - La Ruota

One of Rimini’s newest and most popular attractions is the giant panoramic wheel down at the port.

The Rimini Ruota is positioned perfectly to give you an amazing view. It gives a beautiful view inland, up the port canal into the old city of Rimini and out towards San Marino and Dan Leo.
